About DevnTech

We used to describe eight technologies. Now we describe one job.

DevnTech has been building software for other companies for years — recruitment platforms, payments, marketplaces, operations tools. Somewhere in that work we noticed the pattern that mattered more than any of the stacks.

Almost every company we worked with had a front end their customers saw and a back office nobody owned. Information copied between systems by hand. Reports assembled on Friday afternoons. A spreadsheet built years ago by someone who had since left, now business critical. Everyone knew. Nobody had time.

Meanwhile the market filled with AI agencies selling transformation. The demos were impressive. The pilots rarely reached production, because the hard part was never the model — it was connecting it to an ERP bought in 2014, deciding what happens when it is unsure, and having somebody care about it in month five.

You don’t need to figure out whether you need AI, automation, an integration or custom software. That’s our job.

How we think

What we actually believe

  • The problem comes before the technology

We do not decide what to build until we understand what it costs you not to. That sounds obvious and it is the step almost everyone skips, because building is more fun than measuring.

  • AI is a component, not a category

It is excellent at reading unstructured input and making fuzzy calls, and worse than ordinary code at everything else. A vendor who cannot name the parts of your system that should not use AI is not thinking about your problem.

  • Being honest is cheaper than being impressive

We publish the certifications we do not hold and the reasons you might not want to hire us. It costs us some leads and it saves us every argument that would otherwise happen in month three.

  • You should be able to leave

Your code, your infrastructure, your documentation. A client who stays because leaving is painful is not a client relationship, it is a hostage situation with invoicing.

Most companies don’t need another AI demo. They have actual operational problems.

Information gets copied between systems, people spend hours preparing reports, workflows depend on a spreadsheet somebody built four years ago, and nobody owns improving them. That’s the problem we built DevnTech around. Show us the process. We’ll work out whether AI, automation, an integration or plain software is the right answer, and we’ll measure whether it actually improved anything.

The team

The people who will actually work on your systems

Named people are introduced at kickoff, not swapped for a delivery team after you sign. These are the roles on every engagement.

  • Rumman Sadiq

    Rumman Sadiq

    Co-Founder, DevnTech

Product, client strategy and operations. Runs the workflow reviews himself.

    LinkedIn
  • Technical lead

Architecture, production systems and the call on whether AI belongs in a given step.

  • AI engineer

The AI workflows themselves: extraction, classification, retrieval, and their accuracy.

  • Integrations engineer

Getting your ERP, CRM, accounting system and internal tools to exchange data reliably.

  • Delivery lead

Implementation, the schedule, and being the person you call when you want an answer.

We show the founder with a real photo and a real LinkedIn, and describe the rest by role. Filling this grid with stock headshots and invented names would be exactly the kind of unprovable trust signal this company is built to avoid — and an operations buyer checks LinkedIn.

Rebuilt this website around one proposition

DevnTech used to describe eight technologies and eight industries. It now describes one thing: we find, build, operate and improve the systems behind your internal operations, and we measure whether it worked.
